Augusta Eagles is a christian Home school basketball team, we also have players on the team that goes to local private schools but their school doesn’t have a basketball team so they play with us. We practice 2-3 times a week, and we play in 3 tournaments, and between 16-20 regular season games a year. We start off the season with a season opener tip-off, then we play regular games throughout the week until the last few weeks of the season. We play in the state championship around the last week in February, right before the big ending tournament of the year, the East-Coast Home school National Championship.
This Tournament is played at Liberty University in Virginia, team from up all over come and play in this tournament, boy, girls, JV, and Varsity, 2 years ago The Augusta Eagles won 3rd place in the top bracket of the entire tournament, the year before that the Eagles won 2nd place in the 2nd highest bracket, and the year before that We won the Entire thing. This is a big tournament hundreds of teams will be there and it will be a great chance for the athletes to get to be apart of it.
